Pakistan Vs India Cricket Series in 2013

The long awaited, much passionate cricket series between India and Pakistan has finally been confirmed. The details are as this series will be held in 2013. India will be hosting this series. Same year, two Aussies series will also be played to avoid the expected schedule collapse of world cup 2015.

This good news came when Pakistan had announced its plans to plead against its expected ban in champions league T20 and rotation policy of ICC president ship which was being strongly opposed by India. The details of this plan can be found here.

Pakistan cricket board was in its way to make the ice melt between India and Pakistan and a cricket series to be held between these rival neighbors. But there was a cold response from its counterpart. This response came in the form of not including Pakistani cricketers in IPL and at many other occasions.

But as far as I think, Indian board had to take a turn on its policy against Pakistan and to arrange a series because the people of both countries wanted to see their stars in action between these countries on their own soil. The passion was worth seeing in the semi final between Indian and Pakistan when these countries met in Mohalli in the presence of the prime ministers on both countries and game came up more than a passion.

Now Ijaz Butt and his co official are in Singapore to take part in the ICC annual meeting and plead against the steps taken especially by Indian board. The other side pf the picture may be that Indian board wants to collect the sympathies of Pakistan board and the people of Pakistan to make their position stronger in ICC.

What so ever is the case, I have to look at the brighter side of the picture which says it as a nice step taken by Indian board. Pakistan is having no international cricket on its soil since 2009 when Sri Lankan team was attacked in Lahore.

Now we must pray for the successful implementation of these orders. Allah bless Pakistan and sports arenas must be filled with the young blood, experienced sensations of sports and many more who love these stars. Good Luck Pakistan Cricket.
